Participants will understand the place of Emotional Intelligence in driving excellent public service delivery.
B. Bridging Emotional Intelligence Gaps
Participants will identify specific patterns of leadership behaviour and bias restricting peak performance on their team. They will also see the behaviour of team members that reflects a lack of emotional intelligence.
C. Understanding Emotional Intelligence.
Participants will be exposed to the crucial skills in Emotional Intelligence.
A. The implication of lack of Self Awareness on Leadership Performance:
As the first domain of Emotional Intelligence, participants will discover how lack of self-awareness limits their leadership performance.
B. Simple Strategies for Improving Self Awareness:
Here, participants will acquire insights into understanding their emotions and triggers for their emotional reactions.
C. Deepening Self-Awareness with SRAIC:
Here, participants will learn the practice of Self Reflection, Authenticity, Integrity and Continuous learning to deepen Self Awareness.

Leveraging a case study, participants will engage in an open discussion. The insights obtained will be adapted as solutions to current challenges on their leadership journey.
B. Improving Self Management
As the second domain of Emotional Intelligence, participants will be acquiring insights into managing their emotions and triggers for their emotional reaction by cultivating emotional self-control, adaptability, achievement orientation and positive outlook.
A. Movie Screening
Participants will watch a leadership documentary showcasing high and low emotional intelligence. In their respective groups, they will be required to identify the emotional intelligence skills displayed or lacking in the movie.
B. Improving Social Awareness
As the third domain of Emotional Intelligence, participants will be acquiring insights into understanding the emotions and triggers of emotional reactions of their team members and other stakeholders by cultivating empathy and organizational awareness.
C. Improving Relationship Management
As the fourth domain of Emotional Intelligence, participants will be acquiring insights into building rewarding win-win relationships with all stakeholders by cultivating influence, conflict management, teamwork, coaching & mentoring as well as inspirational leadership skills.
A. Managing Fluctuating Emotions & Seemingly Uncontrollable Mood Swings
As a critical part of team engagement, leaders must gain mastery over their emotional outbursts even when they are under pressure. This session will equip leaders to manage negative emotions while they also manage and cultivate positive emotions.
B. Developing An Emotional Intelligence Plan
Leaders will develop an Emotional Intelligence action plan to enable them to track their responses and monitor improvement.
